Entertainment – Aamir Khan tipped to debut on television soon

Having seen the two Khans – Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, amuse the audience with their wit and charm as hosts on Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain and Dus Ka Dum respectively, the nation was just craving for Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan. And now the buzz is that Aamir will soon make his television debut as a host on Yash Raj’s non-fiction show to air on Sony.

Informs a source closely associated with the show, “It has been discussed often that it’s about time that Aamir Khan make his debut on television. Now it is heard that the superstar will be marking the beginning of his innings on television with Yash Raj’s non-fiction show. Khan will be hosting the show. The show will have celebrity faces who will live the lives of deprived and poor commoners. They will earn for them by doing the same work that the commoner does for a living and will eventually get one of their many wishes fulfilled. Kabir Khan’s Camera Art is the Line producer of the show. The shoot of the same will commence in December.”

“Yash Raj has booked the prime-time slot with Sony and will air its shows at the same slot. This is one of the many shows that Yash Raj is making for the channel. The production house will also make shows based on international shows like Lost, Heroes and 24”, concludes our source.

We sent a text message to Kabir Khan who replied, “We will soon have a press announcement when everything is confirmed. Before that it’s all speculation.”

Rafiq Gangjee, Vice President – Marketing & Communications, Yash Raj Productions, said that the news isn’t true.

We also sent a text message to Danish Khan, Marketing Head Sony Entertainment Television, and Aamir Khan, but they both didn’t reply.

This one’s worth all the speculation. Keep watching this space to know more.
